Isola M. Zuckschwerdt, 94, of Columbus, died at 12:20 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, at Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Zuckschwerdt was born on January 28, 1921, in Azalia, the daughter of Lindsey and Amanda Allen. She married William E. Zuckschwerdt on July 23, 1938, he preceded her in death on May 4, 1990.

Mrs. Zuckschwerdt was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church where she was very active. She was a member of the Tabitha Guild, Moose Lodge, and the Moose Lodge Drum and Bugle Corp. She loved to travel with her husband and dance.

Survivors include her son, Robert Zuckschwerdt of Columbus; Grandchildren, Jesica (Rich) Hollinger of Attica and Scott Huff of Greenwood; Great-Grandchildren, Christine Webb, Sydney Webb, Jessica Hollinger, Hunter Hollinger, Ian Huff and Savannah Huff; and one brother, Lynn Allen of California.

Mrs. Zuckschwerdt was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a daughter, Jane Ann Huff; siblings, Tommy Allen, Joe Allen, Jessie Newsom and Sybil Clark.

The funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver, & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Mark Teike officiating.

Family and friends may call from 10 to 10:30 a.m. prior to services on Wednesday.

Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be given to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.
