St. Mary’s Church in North Vernon is hosting a public Christmas brunch with St. Nicholas from 10:15 a.m. to noon today at the parish center, 617 Clay St., North Vernon.
A free sloppy Joe meal will be served to the first 120 people. St. Nicholas will visit from 11 to 11:30 a.m. and bring some surprises for the children.
The Jump Start singers have a special rendition of “Silent Night” planned, and shadow puppets will be on hand to entertain children.
No reservation is necessary.
