I heard the Columbus Indiana Children’s Choir sing when I was in the crustiest of moods. But I could not help but soften and marvel at a bit of the youngsters’ magic stretching beyond mere music. See for yourself when the ensemble performs at the 3 and 7 p.m. Sunday “Christmas!” concerts with the Columbus Indiana Philharmonic at Judson Erne Auditorium, 1400 25th St. Tickets range from $5 to $35. As a person who has used crutches since the age of 3, I’ve long been a fan of The Arc of Bartholomew County’s Scenes of Inclusion Disability Film Series. The free, animated flick, “Annabelle’s Wish,” will be shown at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Red Room of the Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St. in Columbus. It highlights the story of Billy, a boy who is mute, and his lovable calf, Annabelle, who yearns to be one of Santa’s reindeer. Information: 812-379-1266 or mybcpl.org
