John L. Schroer, 82, of Columbus, died at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2015, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
He is survived by his spouse, Carolyn Jean Durkes Schroer.
The funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s Lutheran Church at White Creek. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home and one hour prior to service time on Saturday.
