Edward Eugene Lockherd, 55, of Columbus, died at 8:27 a.m. Friday, December 11, 2015, at his home.

Edward was born Nov. 4, 1960, in Columbus, to Eddie Marvin and Gladys Pauline Todd Lockherd.

He had been a truck driver for Rumpke and West Container and, as a hobby, he owned a wrecker business.

He loved his family and enjoyed race cars, fishing and hanging out with his buddies.

Survivors include his children, Crystal Lockherd (Ryan Field) of Seymour and Travis Lockherd of Columbus; grandchildren, Levi Lockherd and Landen Field; his former wife, Judy Kenens of Columbus; a step­son, Corey Greenlee of Edinburgh; aunt and uncle, Dorothy and Sonny Todd of Columbus; and several other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Darrell Lee Lockherd.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Glenn Poynter officiating.

Family and friends may call from Noon until service time Wednesday.

Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
