The St. Bartholomew seventh-grade boys basketball team split a pair of games last week, beating Greensburg 22-18 on Tuesday and falling to St. Louis of Batesville 28-18 on Wednesday.

Luke Golding led the Irish with 12 points, eight rebounds and five steals against Greensburg.

Kyle Carlson had 12 points, five rebounds and two steals against St. Louis.

Rebels edge Panther boys

The Jennings County seventh-grade boys blue team fell to Southwestern (Hanover) 26-24 on Thursday. Raul Ruiz led the Panthers (3-7) with 11 points.

The Jennings eighth-grade girls white team lost to Brownstown 45-28 and Bedford 44-35.

Baylee Byford led the Panthers (2-6) with 11 points against Brownstown and 12 against Bedford, while Hannah Bertram added 11 against the Stars.

Jennings’ seventh-grade girls white squad fall to Bedford 42-34 and Madison 42-23.

Kennede Gerhard led the Panthers (3-3) with eight points against Bedford, and Tori Lee scored 15 against Madison.

BROOMBALL

Rockpile stays unbeaten

Tyler Houchin and Matt Street each scored two goals, and Dave Dickinson and Todd Houchin each added one, as The Rockpile improved to 5-0 with a 6-1 win against Flying Zambonis. Bryan Plunkett scored for the Zambonis.

Ryan Ingalls scored three goals and Ryan Siefring and Josh D’Anna each added one in Yoopers’ 5-4 win against CCA Kutters.

Scott Herron scored three goals, and Jacob Hollingsworth had one for Kutters.

Dave VanValkenburg, Matt Psota, John Lane and Keith Henry all scored two goals in Hansons’ 8-1 win against Jennings County. Eric Wernke scored for Jennings.

Toyota Tsunamis and Monsters of Rock tied 2-2.

Jimmy Robertson and Greg McNealy scored for the Tsunamis, while Tom Kubat and Ken Douglas scored for Monsters of Rock.

BOWLING

Karma nets top team game

Patrick Morgan rolled the men’s high game (279) and series (701), and Bonnie Roberts posted the women’s high game (184) and series (523) in the Wednesday Night Mixed League.

Karma recorded the high team game with an 889, and C.B.C had the top team series with a 2,508.

Old Time Flea Market leads the Wednesday Night Mixed League team standings at 80-32.
