Stanwyck MacArthur Melton, 72, of Hartsville, South Carolina, formerly of Edinburgh, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, in Hartsville.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. today at Norton Funeral Home in Hartsville, with burial at New Market Methodist Church Cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Michael (Hollie) Melton of Hartsville; a daughter, Cynthia Ann Wright of Prosperity, South Carolina; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and eight brothers and sisters, Joyce (Jerry) Giles of Edinburgh, Delores (Steve) Fletcher of Flat Rock, Bonnie Lee of Edinburgh and Pam Caldwell, Buck (Shelia) Melton, and Doug, Daren and Sharon Melton, all of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Elizabeth “Libby” Melton
