John and Barb Hackman of Columbus celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with a southern Caribbean cruise.
Mr. Hackman and the former Barb Eckelman were married Dec. 7, 1975, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, by Pastor Eldon Brandt.
Mr. Hackman is owner of Hackman’s Farm Market.
Mrs. Hackman is employed as Bartholomew County auditor.
The couple have two children, Jenny (Ben) Whiteside and Liana (Josh) Lienhoop. They also have six grandchildren.
