North Vernon police arrest four residents after serving search warrant

NORTH VERNON — North Vernon police arrested four people after serving a search warrant in the 1100 block of West County Road 115S.

Arrested were:

  • Jeremey M. Jones, 40, North Vernon, on charges of felony maintaining a common nuisance, felony possession of a narcotic drug, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
  • Kevin V. Swindall, 27, North Vernon, felony possession of a narcotic drug, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and misdemeanor visiting a common nuisance.
  • Christopher L. Branum, 23, North Vernon, felony possession of a narcotic drug, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and misdemeanor visiting a common nuisance.
  • Amanda J. Grajales, 27, North Vernon, felony possession of a narcotic drug, misdemeanor possession of paraphernalia and misdemeanor visiting a common nuisance.

Officers seized a half gram of heroin, about 5 grams of marijuana and several items of drug paraphernalia, said Sgt. Andrew Richmond, North Vernon Police Department spokesman.
