‘Gadget geeks’ are ready to help

The Bartholomew County Public Library “gadget geeks” are stepping up to help those who received a tech gift that they are having trouble deciphering.

A week of digital assistance is being offered at the library, 536 Fifth St., from 1 to 5 p.m. Monday through Jan. 8.

The “gadget geeks” will help anyone figure out a new phone, tablet or e-reader and assist individuals in using the library’s free resources including e-books, movies, music and more — all available with a library card.

Stop in at the library’s special digital desk in the reference area to ask for help.

Individuals may also Book a Librarian for personal assistance for a variety of computer needs and technical assistance. Individuals can schedule a Book a Librarian from the library’s homepage mybcpl.org under quick links.
