Seymour
LeRoy Frederick Pollert, 88, of Seymour, Indiana, died at Columbus Regional Hospital Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016.
He is survived by his two daughters, Lisa A. (James) Ortyn and Beth A. (Don) Russell; and four grandchildren, Christina L. and Andrew J. Ortyn and Taylor E. and Ally N. Russell.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Jean Hackman; sisters, Verna Darlage and Ola Pollert; and brothers, Leon, Melvin and Omer Poller.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church where the Revs. Ralph Blomenberg, Philip Bloch and James Rodriguez and Vicar Alex Hoffmeyer will officiate. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Burkholder Funeral Chapel and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Friday at the church.
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery with Military graveside rites provided by American Legion #89, V.F.W. Post #1925, D.A.V. #47 and Vietnam Veterans #7, all of Seymour.
Memorials can be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Immanuel Lutheran School, Trinity Lutheran High School or the Lutheran Hour.
