Seymour
William D. Miller, 80, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Wednesday January 6, 2016, at Schneck Memorial Hospital.
He was born March 11, 1935, in Seymour, the son of the late Anton Miller and Emma (Peters) Miller.
He married Veronica Tidd January 23, 1954, in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
William was a member of the Eagles Club and Plumbers and Steamfitters Union 440.
He is survived by his wife; his children, Anton “Tony” (Julia) Miller, Debra Helwig, Charles Miller and Mike (Stephanie) Miller; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Robert E. Miller; his two sisters, Dorla Pierce and Susie Harlow; his grandson, Derek Miller; and his son-in-law, John Helwig.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Immanuel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, the Rev. Philip Bloch, the Rev. James Rodriguez and Vicar Alex Hoffmeyer officiating. Burial will follow at Lutheran Cemetery.
Friends and family may call from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the church.
