NORTH VERNON — Brownstown Central, ranked No. 5 in Class 3A, jumped out to a 29-14 lead after one quarter Friday night and remained unbeaten with a 77-57 win at Jennings County.
Tyler Vogel led the Panthers (4-5) with 20 points. Kenneth Jones added 12 points and four assists, while Josh Pettit scored 10 points.
The Braves (9-0) out-rebounded Jennings 35-29. Justin Pettit grabbed eight rebounds for the Panthers.
