Smoke filled Mitch Dental Laboratory, 3928 25th St. in the Holiday Center shopping center, Columbus, after an exhaust fan in a restroom burned out.
Firefighters with the Columbus Fire Department and Columbus Regional Hospital paramedics responded at about 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, but were needed only to remove smoke from the building.
The business owner was able to locate and turn off the circuit breaker connected to the fan, preventing any further damage.
Business operations were not affected and no injuries or significant property damage were reported.
