Dwight Wayne Hancher, 65, of Hanover, Indiana, died at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2016, at his home.

Wayne was born September 18, 1950, in Columbus, to Marshall O. and Betty F. Skaggs Hancher. He married Kelly E. Seeley Harrison December 31, 2006.

Wayne was a longtime karaoke DJ and was co-owner with his wife of Johnnie Rebs in Hanover. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, cooking and watching football, and he was a huge fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

Survivors include his wife, Kelly; children, Melanie Dawn Cruz of Seymour, Julie (Josh) Smith of Deputy, Melinda Graham of Hanover, and Robert (Tammy) Graham of Hanover; sisters, Beverly (Craig) Buck of Columbus, Marsha (James) Barnett of Mary Esther, Florida, and Cindy (Bill) Eppard of Hartford City; 18 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.

The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating.

Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday.

Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
