Brady Lee Houze, 22, of Columbus, died Saturday, January 16, 2016, at his home.

Brady was born July 20, 1993, in Odessa, Texas.

He is survived by his parents, Bill and Robin Houze; his sister, Cassidy; his bothers, Carson and Landon, all of Columbus; grandparents, Bill and Sandy Poling of Oklahoma City; and grandmother, Sandra Houze of Plains, Texas. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles, Danny and Kim Houze of Columbus, Indiana, Mary Kay and Steve Barnes of Plains, Texas, Bill and Shauna Poling of Edmond, Oklahoma; and many cousins.

Brady was preceded in death by his grandfather, Maurice Houze.

Brady enjoyed life with basketball, golf and fishing being very much a part of that. He will be remembered by his family and friends as sweet and caring, a great friend, a good sense of humor, non-judging, a protector of those he loved and always wanting to make others happy.

Brady was a member of Terrace Lake Community Church in Columbus.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Danny Houze officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday. A graveside inurnment service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Westport Cemetery.
