Susan Jane “Mo” Schrader, 67, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on Friday, Jan. 22, 2016, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Susan was born on July 7, 1948, in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Dorotha (Stilabower) Wertz. Susan married Micheal Schrader on Dec. 22, 1973, in Edinburgh, Indiana.
She received her BA from Murray State University and her Masters from IU. Susan worked for Centerstone as a Case Manager. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren, cooking and making noodles. Susan was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Susan is survived by her husband, Micheal Schrader; sons, Grant (Jennifer Penner) Schrader and Branch (Amanda) Schrader; five grandchildren, Mia, Grace, Maely, Lane and Madison; and brother, Richard (Becky) Wertz.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26 at Voss Chapel and again from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday, Jan. 27. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Voss Chapel, with burial to follow at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
