Bulldogs down Panthers
NORTH VERNON — Romeo Langford hit 10 of Class 4A No. 1 New Albany’s 21 3-pointers and scored 44 points to lead the Bulldogs to a 102-34 Hoosier Hills Conference win at Jennings County.
Tyler Vogel scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds to lead the Panthers (6-9, 2-2), who trailed 60-19 at halftime. Langford went 10 of 13 from 3-point range, and New Albany connected on 21 of 33 from long range as a team.
Woodmen top Lancers
GREENWOOD — Edinburgh outscored Greenwood 29-17 in the second half but couldn’t overcome a 24-point halftime deficit in a 59-47 loss.
Jake Atha led the Lancers (3-16) with 12 points. Christian Cox added 10.
