Robbery suspect flees pharmacy
Columbus police are seeking the public’s assistance in solving a Thursday robbery at a local pharmacy.
Columbus police officers responded shortly after 5:30 p.m. to a reported robbery at a CVS pharmacy, 4495 W. State Road 46, where witnesses said a man passed a note indicating that he had a firearm, according to a Columbus Police Department news release.
A short time later, the suspect jumped over the counter and stole an undisclosed amount of prescription medication before fleeing the building. No one was injured.
The suspect was described as a black male, 19 to 30 years old, last seen wearing a dark jacket/sweatshirt, dark pants, a dark stocking cap and white tennis shoes.
