Facilitator summarizes process

The Bartholomew County Plan Commission on Wednesday will hear up to two and a half hours of public comment on recommendations presented by the Bartholomew County CAFO/CFO Regulation Study Committee, developed over a 16-month period. The meeting begins at 8:30 in the Cal Brand Meeting Room at Columbus City Hall, 123 Washington St.

Kris Medic, Bartholomew County’s Purdue Extension educator for agriculture, natural resources and community development, served as the CFO/CAFO Regulation Study Committee facilitator, and in a column published today updates county residents on the committee’s work and the decision ahead.
