Judith A. Koons, 68, of Elizabethtown, passed from this life at 5:35 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, at her home.
Mrs. Koons enjoyed gardening, canning, raising chickens and spending time with her grandchildren.
A celebration of life service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Howard Boles officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 10 a.m. to time of service. In keeping with Mrs. Koons wishes cremation was planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Mrs. Koons was born in Columbus, Sept. 15, 1947, the daughter of George and Evadean Buckler Everroad.
She married William W. Koons Sr. July 27, 1974, in Ft. Myers, Florida. He preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 2016.
Survivors include her children, Carrie (Roland) Breaux of Louisiana and William W. (Johanna) Koons Jr. of Columbus; stepchildren, Rick (Dee) Koons and Brenda Stachowiak both of Minnesota; a sister,
Vickie Everroad of Columbus; and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Everroad.
