Central seventh-graders down Northside

The Central seventh-grade boys basketball team won the city’s middle school battle, knocking off Northside 55-33 on Wednesday.

Reese Harmon led the Chargers with 17 points. Jacob Pierce added 16, and Tyler Boyer had 14.

Kody Reynolds led the Spartans with nine points. Jacob Bailey added eight.

Irish edge Panthers

The St. Bartholomew seventh-graders edged the Jennings County “B” team 24-23 on Monday.

Kyle Carlson led the Irish with 13 points. Luke Golding added 10 points, six rebounds and six steals.

Panthers win invitational

Jennings County Middle School went 3-0 to win its own Panther Invitational. Jennings beat South Dearborn 102-27, Batesville 117-11 and Parkview 111-15.

Dathan Malone (75 pounds), Teagen Johnson (85), Tyler Parker (95), Keagen Craig (100), Kyle Nugent (105), Joey Moran (120), Kade Law (125), Aaron Deaton (135), Jared Corya (140), Logan Askew (145), Owen Deaton (155), Sammy Bennett (175), Jimmy Klingler (185), Jake Coffman (200) and Nathaniel McDonald (285) all went 3-0 for the Panthers.

Bowler rolls 276 game

Richard Baldwin posted the men’s high game (276) and series (694), and Shannon Antcliff had the women’s high game (224) and series (640) in the Wednesday Night Mixed League.

Karma notched the team high game (884) and series (2,579).

Old Time Flea Market leads the team standings at 134-50.

In the Tuesday Night Men’s League, Steve Phillips rolled the high game (277), and Clint Million had the high series (698).

Advantage Heating and Air recorded the team high game (1,260), and Liquor Box had the team high series (3,533). Enviro-Test and Poynter Chevrolet are tied atop the team standings at 126-58.
