BCSC begins kindergarten registration
Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp. elementary schools will begin registering students entering kindergarten for the 2016-17 school year. Registration will be from March 7 to 11.
Any child who is 5 years old by Aug. 1 is eligible for kindergarten. Each BCSC elementary school will be open from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday, March 7 for a kindergarten roundup night to register kindergarten students.
If families are unable to attend this evening session, parents may register their child at their home school’s main office during the week of March 7 through 11 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. each day.
Parents must present the following items to register a child for school:
- The child’s birth certificate
- Immunization records
- Proof of residency — this may be a utility bill (not a cellphone bill) and the address reflected must match the student’s home address.
