Willard Douglas Henderson, 86, of Columbus, passed away Friday, Feb. 25, 2016.
He was born May 3, 1929, in East St. Louis, Illinois.
He is preceded in death by his identical twin, Dillard W. Henderson.
He is survived by his wife, Wanda Truitt Henderson, whom he married on July 20, 1957.
Willard was a member of First Christian Church of Columbus and was a Veteran of the Korean War, Air Force. He later became a teacher and counselor at Manual High School in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Special thanks to Hospice and First Light Home Care for all their help and support during his illness.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, February 29, 2016 with visitation from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at First Christian Church. Burial will be directly after service at Garland Brook Cemetery.
