Columbus Visitors Center unveiled a colorful new $200,000 tour bus to replace a 10-year-old vehicle.

Jennings County High School was locked down and searched after a 16-year-old boy called the school declaring there was “a bomb in every bathroom.” No explosive devices were found.

1966

The first in a series of informal brainstorming meetings with individuals in the community was held by Mayor Eret Kline to examine “where Columbus is, how it got there and where it is going.”
