Girls can sign up for slow-pitch softball

Bartholomew County Girls Slow Pitch Softball Association signups for its league will conclude from noon to 5 p.m. today at Hibbett Sports in the FairOaks Mall.

Cost is $30 per player. There will be age groups for 6 to 8, 9 to 12 and 13 to 17. For more information, call Ken McLaughlin at 812-344-4603.

Boys, girls can register for Scipio Baseball

Scipio Baseball signups will be from 2 to 4 p.m. today at Scipio Firehouse for boys and girls ages 4 and older.

Cost is $20 for the first player in a family and $15 for each additional player in the same household. Age ranges will be divided as signup numbers allow.

Clifty Creek to conduct senior league meeting

Clifty Creek Golf Course will have an organizational meeting for players interested in its senior league at 9 a.m. Monday at the clubhouse.

Sign-up dates established for youth flag football

Columbus Youth Flag Football sign-ups will continue from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamilton Center Ice Arena for boys and girls ages 4 to 13.

Cost is $100 per player. Games will be played Sunday afternoons at the Columbus North High School stadium. The season starts in April and will run for seven weeks into June.

Columbus Flag Football to conduct registration

The Columbus Flag Football League spring season will begin April 10.

Registration will be from 5 to 8 p.m. March 24 at Fourth Street Bar and Grill and is $550 per team for the men’s league and $350 per team for the women’s league.

The late deadline will be April 1, with men’s late registration $600 and women’s late registration $400.

The CFFL also is looking to hire referees. If anyone is interested or knows someone who might be interested, contact Anthony.

Central hosting meetings for cheerleading, track

The call-out meeting for Central Middle School cheerleading for the 2016-17 school year will be at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the school’s main gym.

Call-out meetings for Central track and field will be Wednesday at the school.

Girls will meet at 3:15 p.m., and boys will meet at 5:30 p.m.

Hauser hosting Spring Training Skills Camp

The Hauser baseball team will host a Spring Training Skills Camp from 10 a.m. to noon March 14 to 16 in the school’s fieldhouse for Grades K-8.
