NORTH VERNON — Jennings County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a North Vernon man on felony child molestation and incest charges.
Randy L. Piper, 53, is being held without bond in the Jennings County Jail, said Lt. Mike Mowery, spokesman for the Jennings County Sheriff’s Department, in a news release.
Deputies Bryan Katterhenry, Tom Webster and Det. Sgt. Jeff Jones arrested Piper on Sunday, but no further information was being released about the case Monday.
Mowery said an investigation is still continuing with the assistance of the Jennings County Prosecutor’s Office, Jennings County Department of Child Services and the Indiana State Police.
