Rana Khoury will speak on “Leading the Way: Education, Health and Culture in Bethlehem Palestine” at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Red Room of the Bartholomew County Public Library, 536 Fifth St. in Columbus.
She will share the work of Diyar Consortium, a Lutheran-based, ecumenically oriented organization serving the Palestinian community. She will cover programs for young adults, artistic expressions, lifelong learning, women’s soccer in Palestine and more.
In its 21st year, Diyar is the third-largest private employer, touching the lives of 60,000 in the Bethlehem region. The Presbytery of Ohio Valley is sponsoring the program.
