Albert Lorenze Waltermire, 77, of Scipio, died at 4:40 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.
Survivors include his wife, Minnie Milliman Waltermire of Scipio; sons, Loyd (Norma) Hockersmith of Florida, Harold (Vicki) Hartwell of Holton, Albert Waltermire and Alan Hulse, both of North Vernon; daughters, Frances (Jack) Sandlin and Sandra (Keith) Conrad, both of Elizabethtown, Marilyn Brooks of North Vernon, Lyndee (Terry) Phipps of Marion, Sharleen (Dave) Wells of New Albany and Tressa Tillett of Scipio; brothers, Jack (Tina) Waltermire and Lloyd (Carolyn) Waltermire, both of North Vernon and Leonard (Vinetta) Waltermire of Florida; sisters, Flora Jean Taylor of Scipio, Juanita Sue Miller of North Vernon, Anna Marie Douglas of Elizabethtown, Carolyn Kay (Donnie) Allman of Dupont and Toni (Larry) Drusi of Texas; 34 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by sons, Charles Hulse and Gary Hartwell.
Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday. Burial will be at Vernon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home for expenses.
