Around Town – March 15

Orchids to …

• Eric at McDonald’s for his awesome help.

• The entire staff of Wilson’s Leather for excellent customer service, from Melissa.

• the Sullivans for being the best friends and neighbors anyone could ever have.

• Ann Martin for her accurate letter concerning the effects of alcohol, from a concerned parent.

• Emma Benchell for being such a dedicated friend to Rico Morris.

• Donald Trump for standing up for America and leading the way for the future.

Onions to …

• the individuals who constantly bash elected officials.

• the motorcyclist who drove a bike into our yard and along our evergreens.

• men who won’t let their girlfriends ever come to their house as we wonder what you are hiding.

• killjoys who complain about people who whistle and sing, as this may be their only daily joy and happiness.

• school officials for approving the local high school musical which blatantly signaled to our children that the rapid degradation of morals in our society is no big deal.

• current city leaders who make mistakes and won’t admit it or correct them.

• the dentist who closed his office with no notice and no info on how to get our dental records.

• the person who put the Orchid about needing someone tough like Donald Trump to lead us.

• the trucks parked on Cottage Avenue that make it difficult to use the street.

• all the candidates running for president, as there’s not a good one in the bunch.

• the elderly lady who walks her big white dog north of town and spreads lies and rumors about all of her neighbors.

• doctor’s offices that operate with answering machines and don’t call back patients or other doctors who call and leave messages.

• The Republic because when I handed my wife the entire Sunday paper she thought I was only handing her the first section because it was so light.

• people who provoke others and start trouble.

• the individual who repeatedly steals medicine from a sick person so they can get high.

• Hillary Clinton’s book for being full of lies covering her errors in judgment.

• the coworker with a shared toolbox who doesn’t ever put any tools away, making my job much more difficult.
