Reds, Pirates play at Victory Field

For the first time in its 20 years, Indianapolis’ Victory Field will play host to a game between two major-league teams this afternoon when the Cincinnati Reds play an exhibition game against the Pittsburgh Pirates.

The game, which sold out in less than 24 hours when tickets went on sale in November, will begin at 1:35 p.m.

The Pirates are the current parent club of the Indianapolis Indians. The Indians also have been a Reds affiliate four times during their 114-year, minor-league history, most recently from 1993-99.
