Kacie Marie Schoen and Matthew David Ryan, both of Waipahu, Hawaii, announce their engagement.
Ms. Schoen is the daughter of John and Nan Schoen of Leavenworth, Kansas. She is a 2014 graduate of Furman University and she is a pilot in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Ryan is the son of Bob and Gabrielle Ryan of Mexico, formerly of Columbus. He is a 2014 graduate of the U.S. Military Academy and is a pilot in the U.S. Army.
The wedding will be at 5 p.m. Dec. 30 at 1890 Event in Platte City, Missouri.
