Who are your parents, grandparents and siblings?

I am the daughter of Daniel Harwell and Melanie Townsend; my grandparents are the late Byron Gene Townsend and Bettye Townsend of Cordova, Tennessee, and Flozell and Grover Harwell Sr. of Stanton, Tennessee. I have a younger sister, Amya Mormon, who lives in Memphis, Tennessee.

Which elementary and middle school did you attend?

I attended elementary school at Chimneyrock Elementary in Cordova, Tennessee and middle school at Mount Pisgah Middle and St. Agnes Academy in Memphis, Tennessee.

What is your favorite class or part of the school day?

Biomedical Innovations is my favorite class.

In which extracurricular activities do you participate?

I am active in Best Buddies and the Dance Marathon, which benefits Turning Point Domestic Violence Services.

When you’re not in school, where is your favorite place to be and why?

My favorite place to be is my room, working on my art.

What has been your greatest high school memory so far and why?

My greatest high school memory was the North vs. East football game in my freshman year. It was my first real high school outing. I was extremely excited and full of school spirit.

What are you looking forward to after graduation?

After graduation, I am looking forward to meeting my new classmates from different places with varying backgrounds.

Who in your life has inspired you, and to whom do you look up to and why?

My mom provides life lessons and motivation. She has taught me the importance of perseverance.

What is the most important thing you’ve learned during, or from, high school?

The most important thing I’ve learned is if you need something, ask for help.
