Former Congressman Lee Hamilton will be the speaker at the William R. Laws Peacemaking Lecture.
The event is scheduled for 4 p.m. April 16 at First Presbyterian Church, 512 Seventh St.
Hamilton is director of the Center on Congress at Indiana University. He was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives for 34 years. Hamilton is currently a member of the President’s Homeland Security Advisory council and in 2015 received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
