David and Brenda Kelsay Simmons, owners of Columbus-based 450 North Brewery and Simmons Winery, have partnered with Greg and Ron Kelsay and Bill Poland of Genesis Property Development to open Riverfront Taproom at 530 N. Harrison St., Shelbyville, the first new business in Shelbyville’s Riverfront District.
A full service bar will include 32 taps of Indiana craft beer, including the full lineup of 450 North Brewing Co. beers and hard ciders, Simmons Winery products, brick-oven pizzas, gourmet burgers and other select entrees using fresh vegetables from local farmers and meats, cheeses and other ingredients from Indiana producers.
The 9,500-square-foot pub will offer a banquet room, an outdoor deck overlooking Big Blue River, wine tasting and sales and a brewery operation onsite making small-batch specialty and seasonal craft beers.
