Walkers and runners can honor the sacrifice of local Indiana National Guard members and their families by participating in a 5K/15K walk, ruck march or run April 23.
The race begins at 9 a.m. at the Jennings County Fairgrounds, 4920 N. State Road 3. Day-of-event registration and packet pickup starts at 8:15.
Money raised from the event will be donated to the Indiana National Guard Emergency Fund, the Wounded Warrior Project and K9s for Warriors. The event is family friendly and families with children are encouraged to participate.
The event will include a display of approximately 20 Quilts of Valor made by members of the local quilting club, Harmony Quilters, and other patriotic displays.
