Letter: Benjamin experience, expertise make her top choice for judge

From: Jesse Brand

Columbus

I am writing to endorse Kelly Benjamin for the office of Bartholomew Circuit Court judge. Kelly has studied and practiced all aspects of the law, including corporate, civil and criminal. She has served our community as city attorney and attorney for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corp., not only providing legal counsel but also learning a great deal about these important institutions, each significant parts of our county and its culture.

Additionally, Kelly has shared her experience and expertise by teaching in many venues from law enforcement training classes to post-secondary educational institutions. She is highly respected and sought-after for the knowledge her experience and education have provided her.

Experienced in more than just the law, as an active partner in her husband’s medical practice she understands business and the management of the office operations, payroll and personnel issues. She has been recognized for outstanding service by Turning Point, Healthy Communities, the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence and the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce, to name only a few of the organizations by which she has been honored.

Kelly’s knowledge, experience, work ethic and years of community involvement provide the right background to serve our community as circuit court judge. She is a strong leader with a common-sense approach who will make fair, sensible and when necessary, tough decisions. I strongly encourage you to vote for Kelly Benjamin for Bartholomew Circuit Court judge.
