Rep. Luke Messer, R-Ind., and Sen. Dan Coats, R-Ind., will co-host a Service Academy Day in Bartholomew County from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at Columbus North High School.
The event is an opportunity for students and their parents to learn more about the U.S. service academies and how to apply.
Representatives from both congressional offices and the academies will be available to answer questions. U.S. service academies include the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, New York; the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Maryland; the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, Colorado; the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings’ Point, New York; and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at New London, Connecticut.
