Renee D. Mitchell, 50, of Lafayette Avenue, died at 4:56 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Survivors include her husband, Brian F. Mitchell of Columbus; a daughter, Ellen K. (Nick) Messer of Evansville; her father, Richard A. Hardin (Kay Bottorff) of Columbus; and her sister, Rhonda (Rich) Fleming of Nashville, Tennessee.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth G. Dunkin Hardin; and a son, Tommy Mitchell.
Cremation is planned. Inurnment will be at a later date at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
