A Columbus Signature Academy New Tech Campus senior is offering architectural walking tours in Columbus in French as a senior project.
Isaac Joyner is working with the Columbus Visitors Center to provide the tours of the architectural assets along Fifth Street in downtown Columbus.
Joyner was a Rotary Youth Exchange student in France last year. Sponsored by the Columbus Sunrise Rotary Club, he spent 10 months studying in a French high school and living with host families. As a result of that experience, Joyner wanted to complete a senior project that allowed him to connect with the French community of Columbus.
Tours will depart from the center, 506 Fifth St., on April 23 at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. The tours are free and reservations are not necessary. A translation of the French walking tour will be provided.
