Billy Dean Grider Sr., 75, of Westport, died at 1:39 a.m. Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Decatur County Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.
He is survived by a daughter, Cindy Williams (Rick Spears) of Gosport; sons, Billy Dean Grider Jr. of Mooresville, Bobby (Denise) Grider of Duffield, Virginia, Brian (Christine) Grider and Johnathan (Deanna) Grider, both of Westport, and Jamey (Vicky) Grider of Clayton; sisters, Janice (Herbert) Bennett of Edinburgh and Verna (Harold) Webb of Columbus; a brother, Ralph Grider of Columbus; 25 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Ellen Brickert Grider, and daughter, Cheryl Marie Grider.
Funeral service will be conducted at noon Thursday at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with the Rev. Glenn Black officiating. Calling will be from 10 a.m. until service time Thursday. Burial will be at Floral Park Cemetery in Indianapolis.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to the Gideon Bible Program.
