The Joint and Spine Center at Columbus Regional Health is partnering with Southern Indiana Orthopedics to sponsor a joint screening and health fair May 14.
“It’s a Joint Effort” will be at Southern Indiana Orthopedics, 940 N. Marr Road in Columbus. Those who participate will receive a free X-ray of the hip or knee, to be scheduled and completed prior to the event, and a one-on-one appointment with a doctor to review the X-ray. The event on May 14 will feature a free health fair, joint care seminar and educational materials.
Registration is required, and spots fill quickly. Each registrant will scheduled his or her X-ray prior to the event and a block of time on the morning of May 14 for an appointment with an orthopedic surgeon to review the scan and talk about options for joint pain relief.
