Dispose of drugs at State Police posts

The Indiana State Police is partnering with the Drug Enforcement Administration to sponsor the 11th annual Prescription Drug Take Back Initiative on Saturday.

Collection sites are being set up nationwide for expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs which will be property disposed of without threat to the environment. The program is for liquid and pill medications. Needles will not be accepted for disposal.

The service is free and anonymous with no questions asked.

The event is at any Indiana State Police post, except the Toll Road, between the hours of 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Bartholomew County is covered by the Indiana State Police Post in Versailles, at 902 S. Adams St.
