Edinburgh
Betty F. Streeval, 76, of Edinburgh, Indiana, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016, at her residence.
She was born August 31, 1939, in Edinburgh, the daughter of Melvin Owen and Rachel (Gaddis) Whitlock. She married Ulysses Streeval. He preceded her in death September 28, 2003.
She is survived by sons, Ulysses (Debra) Streeval Jr. of Columbus, Indiana, and Carl J. Streeval of Edinburgh; a daughter, Sherrie Mullis of Edinburgh; a brother, Frank (Edna) Whitlock of Edinburgh; sisters, Jessie (Jimmy) Carter of Tanneyville, Missouri, Carolyn (Bill) Owens of Edinburgh an Kay (Mike) Mitchell of Columbus; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brothers, William, Justin, Robert, Douglas and Ernest Whitlock; and a sister, Joyce Everroad.
Mrs. Streeval was the minister at the Church of Jesus Christ in Martinsville, Indiana, and formerly worked as a home health aide for the Johnson County Health Department.
She enjoyed time at her church, spending time with family and grandchildren, and garage sales.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016, at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh, by the Rev. Jimmy Ennis Jr. Calling will be from 1 p.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
