David E. Harris, 78, Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away May 21, 2016.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughters, Dawn George (Brad) and Angela Lee; son, David Harris Jr. (Celina); grandchildren, Alexander Lee, Molly Harris and Henry Harris; and sister, Linda Cutrell.
A memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, May 28, with visitation from 11 a.m. until the time of service at Church at the Crossing, 9100 Haverstick, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
Born May 8, 1938, in Terre Haute, Indiana, Mr. Harris was the son of Chester E. and Mary M. Harris. He graduated from Staunton, Indiana, High School and then went on to earn his Bachelor’s Degree at Indiana University, John Herron School of Art. He retired from Cummins Engine Company in 1987.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester E. Harris and Mary M. Harris.
