Taylorsville man arrested on charge of domestic battery

Bartholomew County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Taylorsville man after he was accused of being intoxicated and threatening to hurt two young relatives.

Harley D. Pasley, 23, 1169 Franklin St., Taylorsville, was arrested on charges of battery and interfering with a 911 call at about 7:40 p.m. Monday, deputies said.

Deputies Terrance Holderness and Jarod Aspenson were sent to the 1100 block of Franklin Street in Taylorsville to a domestic battery involving Pasley, described by a relative as being intoxicated and causing a disturbance, deputies said. The caller said Pasley had cut her hand with a piece of glass and was threatening to hurt two young boys.

Prior to deputies arriving, they were told that Pasley had control of the phone and disconnected the 911 call. When deputies arrived, they were told Pasley had been drinking rubbing alcohol and was inside a storage building, deputies said.
