Marilyn Kay Danford-Lee, 75, of Columbus, passed from this life at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Kindred Transitional Care & Rehabilitation Center.

Ms. Lee was born February 2, 1941, in Iuka, Illinois, to Charles Herbert and Mary Katherine Souder Buchhorn.

She was a homemaker and attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

Survivors include her children, Pauletta (Jeffrey) Berry of Edinburgh, Laurie Foster of Edinburgh, Kevin (Nakkai) Danford of Columbus and Kaye (Gary) Pattingill of Columbus; grandchildren, Krystal Berry, Lacey Schrader, Jenna Berry, Beth Weber, Brandon Weber, Kaitlyn Danford, Kirsten Danford, Cortney Galbraith and Dustin Pattingill; eight great-grandchildren; and siblings, Martha Curry of Texas, Doris Gearhart of Greencastle, Georgia French of Tennessee, Linda Avans of Georgia and Thomas Buchhorn of Arkansas.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Herbert Ray Buchhorn, Alice Buchhorn and Anna Louise Buchhorn; a son-in-law, Tim Weber; grandchildren, Robert Dean Weber and Blake Thomas Weber; and a great-grandson, Chase Lee Galbraith.

In keeping with Ms. Lee’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private family memorial service will be held.
