Gordon and Brenda Pifer of Seymour plan to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house hosted by their sons from 5 to 7 p.m. June 4 at the home of son Donnie, 6528 N. County Road 1300E, Seymour.
The couple request no gifts be given.
Mr. Pifer and the former Brenda Burke were married June 4, 1966, in Seymour, by the Rev. John H. Engleking.
Mr. Pifer retired from Cummins Inc.
Mrs. Pifer retired from the office at Swifty Oil Co.
The couple have two children, Donnie (Danene) Pifer and Kelly (Beth) Pifer, both of Seymour. They also have five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
