Jenny’s Picks – June 2

I love living in Columbus. Now it’s time to prove just how well I know it during the Love Where You Live Community Treasure Hunt, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Presented by Engage Columbus, the treasure hunt begins at the organization’s Downtown Farmers Market booth, which you’ll find in the Cummins parking lot across from Mill Race Park on Lindsey Street. Pick up a treasure map and clues at the Engage Columbus booth then hit the street in search of architectural gems. Prizes will be awarded at an after-party ceremony from 5 to 7 p.m. at Engage Columbus, 431 Sixth St. Games, live music and food and drinks.

Data is still being collected about the positive benefits of meditating. In the meantime, I’ll keep on calming my brain and possibly increasing my gray matter by practicing that. The Pyramid Meditation Center will help you get on your path 6 p.m. Monday during its meditation session at 536 Fifth St. For ages 6 and over. Information: 812-379-1266 and mybcpl.org.
