Ronald P. Storey, 77, of Washington, passed away at 9:07 p.m. Saturday, May 28, 2016, in Indianapolis.

He was born on Nov. 10, 1938, in Washington to Ribal and Delema (Brumett) Storey. He had worked for the B and O Railroad, for General Motors for 20 years and owned and operated Storey Construction for several years. He was a past member of the Washington Elks Lodge and the Moose. He enjoyed spending time with his family and attending grandchildren’s events. He was always building something. He loved gardening and playing a game of euchre.

He is survived by three daughters, Michelle (Rob) Herring of Grapevine, Texas, Natalie (Art) Braid of Washington and Nicole (Thomas) Wolf; grandchildren, Brandon Waller of Azle, Texas, Ty Herring of Grapevine, Texas, Alyxx Herring of Lewisville, Texas, Mackenzie Wolf of Evansville, Jack Wolf of Evansville and Charli Hardig of Vincennes; one sister, Joan (Myron) Baker of Columbus; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Steve Storey.

A celebration of Ron’s life will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Friday at Ed Lee Mortuary with Bro. Christopher Wiles officiating. Visitation will be from noon to 3 p.m. Friday at the mortuary.
